Welcome to the website of the Canterbury ATV Association Inc.

Membership of our club has a lot of benefits for members such as contact with other people who are interested in ATVs.

Competition in lots of classes and disciplines. Classes run from 5-8 year olds to +40 and a women's class. We compete in different disciplines such TT races on flat paddocks to TT across on rolling country through to motocross on purpose built tracks. We also compete in shingle sprints on closed roads and speedway.

We have a good relationship with the Canterbury off road club who have a track at West Melton which we use.

The CATVA try to promote safe and fair riding by having training days and promote our sport through “have a go days”.

We also encourage family participation by setting up a kids track at most events. Some families have 3 or 4 members involved in different classes.

At the moment we have a good strong committee which is invaluable to our sports future.
